By accessing or using PreparedtoLead.app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PreparedtoLead.app is a web-based application designed to help Jehovah's Witnesses prepare talks, presentations, and teaching materials using AI-powered content generation tools.

3. Account Registration and Use

3.1 Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

3.2 Account Responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for all activity under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Free Trial

  • New users receive a 14-day free trial with full access to all features
  • No payment is required to start the trial
  • You may cancel at any time during the trial period
  • If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for a monthly subscription

4.2 Paid Subscription

  • Subscription fee: $24.99 USD per month
  • Payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months of service
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your paid period

4.4 Price Changes

  • We reserve the right to modify subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice
  • Price changes will not affect your current billing cycle
  • Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price

5. Acceptable Use

5.1 Permitted Uses

  • Create teaching materials for personal or congregational use
  • Generate content ideas and outlines for presentations
  • Store and organize your prepared materials in your personal library

5.2 Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use the Service to:

  • Generate content that contradicts Jehovah's Witness beliefs and teachings
  • Create materials for commercial sale or distribution
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy the Service
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Generate excessive API requests to abuse the system
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. Content and Intellectual Property

6.1 AI-Generated Content

  • Content generated by the Service is provided as-is for your personal use
  • You are responsible for verifying all scriptural references and theological accuracy
  • Generated content should be reviewed and modified as needed before use
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy or appropriateness of AI-generated content

6.2 Your Content

  • You retain ownership of any content you input into the Service
  • You grant us a limited license to process your inputs to provide the Service
  • We do not claim ownership of your saved materials or generated content

6.3 Service Content

  • The Service, including its design, features, and software, is owned by us
  • You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service
  • All trademarks and branding are our property

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 Service "As-Is"

  • The Service is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We do not warrant that the Service meets your specific requirements

7.2 AI Content Disclaimer

  • AI-generated content is for brainstorming and preparation assistance only
  • All content must be verified for scriptural accuracy before use
  • The Service does not replace personal study, prayer, or organizational guidance
  • We are not responsible for how you use generated content

7.3 Religious Content

  • This Service is designed for use by Jehovah's Witnesses
  • Content reflects Jehovah's Witness teachings and New World Translation references
  • We do not provide theological advice or spiritual guidance

7.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from unauthorized account access
  • We are not liable for third-party services (Stripe, AWS, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google)

8.2 Data Security

  • However, no system is completely secure

9. Third-Party Services

9.1 Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.
  • Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to payment processing
  • We do not store your full credit card information

9.2 AI Services

  • Content generation uses OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google AI services
  • These providers' terms and privacy policies may also apply
  • We cannot control or guarantee the behavior of third-party AI systems

10. Termination

10.1 By You

  • You may terminate your account at any time through account settings
  • Termination takes effect at the end of your current billing period

10.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You engage in fraudulent activity
  • You abuse the Service or system resources
  • Required by law or regulation

10.3 Effect of Termination

  • Upon termination, your access to the Service ends
  • Your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period
  • You remain liable for any outstanding payment obligations

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.
